DAL - AC continues its active engagement in the community and you are invited to attend the opening of an international collaboration called "Water is Key".

The opening is at NSCC McCarthy Gallery Thursday, 5th March, 7pm. There will be door prizes and opportunities to purchase art with the funds channelled to听water projects听where they听are听desperately听needed.听Gil Garcetti, former Attorney General of California and current UNESCO Ambassador for Water, has been partnering with DAL-AC for years through his co-authoring of a paper with Kathleen Kevany and lending his legendary听black and white photographs to tell the poignant and powerful听story of water stressed parts of Western Africa.

This exhibit is听a partnership between NSCC-Truro Campus and DAL-AC and is an example of dissemination and听mobilization of research.听This is a public place to听broaden the听conversation about the challenges and successes researchers shared in a special issue called "Water, Women, Waste, Wisdom and Wealth" in the听Journal of Cleaner Production. Work of 肉肉传媒-AC's water management specialist,听Dr. Robert France, also will be exhibited.
